Shakedown
Because of our
deliberately annoying Group system, not every
driver or constructor on your Loser team is
going to be bad enough to earn you Loser points.
A Shakedown is
where you ditch one of your team picks in favour
of another pick from the same Group.
Do this on the
My Team
page.
This is when you
can Shakedown:
-
April 1st to
May 31st: First Shakedown - swap a pick from
Group A or B.
-
June 1st to
July 31st: Second Shakedown - swap a pick
from Group C or D.
-
August 1st to
August 31st: Final Shakedown - swap a pick
from Group E or F.
Teams that enter
late will not be able to take part in the first
shakedown.

chosen drivers scored between the Hungarian and Belgian grands prix in
2005.
The
shaded boxes represent choices that
weren't part of SarahContrary's choices. You can see that
between Turkey and Italy, SarahContrary dropped Barrichello in favour of
Doornbos.

Rubens Barrichello hadn't scored any
Losers Points for months. In Hungary, none of SarahContrary's drivers
scored any Losers Points. How unLoserlike!
When the Shakedown season came along,
SarahContrary quickly dropped Barrichello from the team. They
replaced him with Robert Doornbos, who had proved pretty adept at
scoring Losers Points.
As it happened, Barrichello continued
racking up the zeros, while Dornbos went on to score a total of 60
Losers Points in the last five races, helping SarahContrary to the 2005
Losers championship. |
